About this talk

The ongoing coronavirus pandemic has served as a timely reminder that governments have enormous public purpose, and that their ability (or inability) to fulfil important obligations to citizens is an essential component of trust and the realisation of public value. As human interactions and economic transactions increasingly occur online, the creation – and protection – of public value will rest on the use and collection of public data and innovation in service delivery. Highlighting current trends, the panel will provide government, academic and commercial perspectives on the challenges of providing the underlying infrastructure, digital tools and techniques needed to generate confidence and enable trust in government.
